Govt re-allocates litigation work to Law Officers

JAMMU, July 28: Government has re-allocated litigation work amongst the Law Officers in Jammu wing of the State High Court.
As per an order issued by Anchal Sethi, Secretary to Government, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Senior Additional Advocate General H A Siddiqui has been allotted General Administration, Health and Medical Education, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Departments and State Legal Services Authority.
Senior Additional Advocate General C M Koul has been allotted School Education Department (districts of Poonch, Reasi and Kathua), Planning, Monitoring and Development, Hospitality and Protocol, Civil Aviation and Election Departments.
Additional Advocate General Ravinder Gupta has been allotted litigation work of Public Works and ARI and Trainings Department and Ranbir Government Press. Additional Advocate General Farooq Ahmad Natnoo has been allotted Industries and Commerce, Tourism, Custodian Departments, Board of Professional Entrance Examination and Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation.
Additional Advocate General Aseem Sawhney has been allotted Agriculture Production, School Education (districts of Rajouri, Samba and Jammu), Youth Services and Sports, Power Development and Technical Education Departments and Resident Commissioner New Delhi.
Additional Advocate General Amit Gupta has been allotted Estates Department, Services Selection Board and Economic Reconstruction Agency while as Deputy Advocate General Arshad Malik has been allotted Transport Department, Cable Car Corporation and Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation.
Deputy Advocate General Sudesh Magotra has been allotted Higher Education, Horticulture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Floriculture Department and State Financial Corporation while as Deputy Advocate General Rajesh Thappa has been allotted School Education (districts of Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban), Information and Information Technology Departments and Jammu Development Authority.
As per another order, Additional Advocate General Srinagar Asifa Padroo will look after all the criminal cases pertaining to Anti-Corruption Bureau pending before the High Court at Srinagar.
