JAMMU, June 30: The State Government has constituted a committee to examine the draft J&K State Hydro Power Policy, 2017, formulated by the State Power Development Corporation.
Headed by the Chief Secretary as its Chairman, the eight-member committee shall submit its recommendations within a period of one month.
Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Finance Department, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, PHE, I&FC, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Development Commissioner (Power), J&K, are Members of the committee while Managing Director JKSPDC is the Member Secretary.
