SRINAGAR, May 5: Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader, Prof Saifuddin Soz has urged the J&K UT Administration to bring back students, traders, labourers and other workers stranded in Gujarat and other places, to their homes in Kashmir.
In a press statement today, Soz claimed that he received several frantic calls from students the other day, stranded at Ahmadabad in Gujarat. It was a group of 22 students including seven girls who wanted to return to their homes. One of them, Ishaq Majid said that the students are very worried for getting back to their homes in Valley.
He strongly urged the J&K UT Administration to adopt measures to ensure safe return of stranded students at Gujarat and elsewhere in the country, back to their homes in the J&K Union Territory.
