JAMMU, Apr 22: For the posting of Wardens and Assistant Wardens in Pahari Speaking Hostels in Jammu Kashmir, the State Government today ordered a formal policy.
According to the policy, the selection of Wardens/Assistant Wardens shall be made from the panel provided by School Education Department by a committee comprising of Administrative Secretaries of GAD, Social Welfare Department and School Education Department besides Secretary Pahari Advisory Board.
The School Education Department will provide a panel of eligible Headmasters and Masters with outstanding service career to the GAD for their posting as Wardens/Assistant Wardens.
The orders for deputation of Wardens/Assistant Wardens shall be issued by the GAD after seeking approval of Chief Minister, who is chairman of the Board.
The normal tenure of deputation of Wardens/Assistant Wardens in the Pahari Hostel shall be two years and in no case it shall be allowed beyond three years, says the Government order.
