JAMMU, Apr 12: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued final seniority list of Dental Surgeons of Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service of the UT as on January 1, 2020.
According to the order, the last senior list of Dental Surgeons was issued vide Government order number 330-HME of 2012 dated 26-04-2012 and subsequent to the issuance of this list some doctors retired on superannuation, some were terminated or adjusted in other services/cadres and also some were either appointed afresh or regularized in the department.
“This necessitated issuance of an updated seniority list in respect of Dental Surgeons of J&K Health and Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service and accordingly vide Government Order number 12-JK (HME) of 2020, a tentative seniority list of the Dental Surgeons, as it stood on 01-01-2020, was circulated among all the concerned for information and file their objections/making appeals within a period of 21 days,” the order said.
“Several representations were received and after examined by the department, necessary corrections/ rectifications/ incorporations were made wherever found justified and accordingly, a final seniority list of Dental Surgeons were issued,” the order read.
It further said that if it comes to the notice of the department that any Dental Surgeon who has remained un-authorizedly absent from the duty and the period has been treated as “Dies-Non” or otherwise, their cases will be reconsidered separately and their seniority shall be fixed appropriately.
