KISHTWAR, Sept 20: Senior National Conference leader from Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo (MLC) has alleged that PDP-BJP Government has failed to provide basic amenities to the people residing in far flung areas of erstwhile Doda district.
The NC leader who paid extensive visit to the villages Ekhalla, Dangdooru and Sowarbatti of Dacchan Block found that people were deprived of basic facilities. He listened the problems of people of the area and promised the people to take up the issues with the Government.
The MLC also visited the construction site of Dangdooru- Lopara road on which the work has been stopped. He heard the grievances of villagers of Sowarbatti regarding their compensation of land and Houses which has been already awarded by CVVP before 6 months, people complained that they are forced by Administration to wonder from Sounder to DC office Kishtwar for getting the compensation. They have to get title verification from tehsil  head quarter Sounder and compensation from DC office Kishtwar.
Kichloo lauded the efforts of Administration to organise a camp in Sowarbatti village and disburse the compensation to the beneficiaries as per rule and guidelines of Government, as soon as possible so the construction of Dangdooru – Lopara road could start at the earliest.
He requested the public of villages of Dangdooru and Sowarbatti to cooperate with construction department and agency. He urged the construction agency to work with zeal and assured them  that he and his party will remain always available for their support regarding smooth construction of road.
Kichloo suggested both the alliance partners to make good coordination between themselves at least on development projects and do not let the people suffer.
