SRINAGAR, Aug 16: Former Minister, Abdul Gani Vakil in a statement issued today said that PDP-BJP coalition has failed to respect its commitments, adding that ambiguous governance mechanism adopted by these partners has derailed the developmental session in the entire State.
Referring to the recent unprecedented mass transfers made in various departments, particularly, over 200 transfers including recent 90 transfers of engineers in R&B Department silently and in unplanned way, Vakil said that such type of transfers reflect that Government is least bothered about maintainable developmental activities and instead wants to boost transfer industry in R&B Department and nothing else.
He also said that maintaining of secrecy in respect of these transfers needs to be justified because hundreds of engineers have been rendered idle due to this questionable act, adding that mass transfer of engineers in R&B Department that too during the brief feasible season is prima facie, unwarranted and questionable as the action has impeded the pace of developmental activities.
