Govt Deptts asked to upload purchases

JAMMU, Feb 3: The Finance Department of the State Government today directed all Government Departments and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to upload on their official website the summary of all contracts/purchases made during every month above Rs 1 lakh.
The summary of such contracts/websites has to be uploaded on a devised format, an official order issued by the Finance Department, said.
It said the website should reflect date of start of work, expected/actual date of completion and reasons for delay, if any. It added that proforma should be updated on website regularly till completion of work/supply.
It asked the Administrative Secretaries of all Departments and Managing Directors of the PSUs to pass on the directions to subordinate and ensure their implementation in letter and spirit.
