JAMMU, Mar 17: Government has accorded sanction to the constitution of a committee for reviewing and updation of existing laws and deletion of obsolete laws in the State.
The committee will comprise of Advocate General, M. I. Qadri, Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department, G. H. Tantray, Special Secretary Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Farhat Tasneem, Additional Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Muzaffer Ahmad Wani, Additional Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Achal Sethi, (Member Secretary) and two eminent lawyers to be co-opted by the committee.
