JAMMU, Aug 12: The Union Territory Government today ordered constitution of a Board of Revenue, which shall be the Chief Controlling Authority regarding all the matters provided in Jammu and Kashmir Land Revenue Act.
Headed by Shaleen Kabra, Financial Commissioner, Revenue, J&K as Ex-officio Chairman, the Board shall exercise, perform and discharge powers, functions and duties conferred upon it by or under the IBID Act or any other law for the time being in force and shall perform all functions entrusted to it by the Government from time to time.
Zubair Ahmad, Commissioner Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Rajesh Sharma, Custodian General, J&K are the Members the Board of Revenue.
