Govt to conduct survey on number of educated unemployed

SRINAGAR, June 3: Government will conduct a survey to find out the number of unemployed educated youth in the State.
The Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu, today informed the Legislative Assembly that Government will conduct a survey in the State to find out the number of unemployed educated youth.
Drabu said this while responding to a question raised by the senior National Conference leader and law maker, Ali Mohammad Sagar after house was informed that there are only one lakh educated unemployed youth in the State.
Sagar said that there are around 7 lakh uneducated youth in the State and asked the Finance Minister to come out with the correct figure.
Drabu said that these educated youth are registered with the Employment Department and there are others who are not registered.
