Govt committed to address development aspirations of people: Kohli

RAJOURI, Aug 6: Reiterating Government policy of streamlining the education system and   making teachers accountable for their performance, Minister for Transport, Abdul Ghani Kohli today asked the educational institutions to improve their  performance as the Coalition Government is committed to provide  quality education.
He said the Government is working to address development aspirations of the people and all out efforts have been initiated to develop rural and backward belts of the state.
The Minister said this while addressing a meeting at panchayat Brevi, Kalakote.
On the occasion, locals projected  demand for  start of repair and maintenance work on road from Solki new bridge to Brevi, Kalakote, renovation and up-gradation of high school, Brevi and  installation of more electric poles.
Responding to demands and grievances of the people, Mr. Kohli assured the people that their genuine issues would be considered and issued on spot directions to the concerned departments to initiate necessary steps required for ensuring early redressal of the demands. He directed Executive Engineer PWD to start the premixing of Solki -Brevi road at the earliest and asked PDD department to install new electric poles where ever required.
He appealed people to actively involve themselves in implementation of various welfare schemes so that effective feedback is received about the same and need based and holistic development of these areas is ensured.
