JAMMU, Sept 12: Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Nazir Ahmad Laway visited Chamber House, here.
He was welcomed by Chamber President Rakesh Gupta.
Laway took a round of Chamber House to know about the working and facilities available in house and also suggested many new things for improvements and also updated Chamber President about the initiatives being taken by the Government of India to help the trade and industry to grow and prosper.
MP also assured the Chamber President that the Government was committed for the overall growth of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions.
On the occasion, Chamber President apprised the MP about the problems being faced by the trade and industry after the implementation of GST in the State on which Nazir Ahmad Laway assured to take up the matter with the Union Finance Minister.
The other Office bearers present on the occasion included Rajeev Gupta, Junior Vice President, Manish Gupta, Secretary General and Gaurav Gupta, Secretary.
