JAMMU, July 25: Government seems to be poorer than the unemployed, as over five crores have been collected from the poor unemployed youth seeking to take part in the Class-IV recruitments process.
JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma in a press statement has said that the unemployed youth who are facing great hardships on account of highest record of unemployment rate of last forty five years as per official data, are being made to pay heavy fee for filling a form that too for the lowest rung job in the Government.
The unemployed youth have to fill up lot many forms for different posts and every time they have to pay heavy fee, which is burden on the poor parents. The Government should not over burden the unemployed youth and bear the maximum cost of the examinations for the recruitments.
The number of those registered for the class fourth posts of around, 8500 is touching three lakhs, which is alarming from the point of unemployment index. Out of the large number of applicants, only few would be selected and the rest have to shell their money only for participation. They have spend lot of money to appear for test.
