JAMMU, Mar 13: The Government has re-constituted the Board of Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Ltd and also General Body as well as Executive Council of the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Society (JKRLS).
As per an order, issued by the Finance Department, Prof B S Sahay, Director IIM Jammu and Quleen Kour Bijral, Assistant Professor, IIT Jammu, have been appointed as independent Directors on the Board of Director of J&K Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Ltd.
According to a separate order, the General Body of J&K Rural Livelihood Society has been reconstituted with Lt Governor as Chairman while its Executive Council is headed by Chief Secretary as its Chairman.
Mission Director JKRLM is Member Secretary of the General Body while Chief Secretary and Administrative Secretaries of Finance, Health & Medical Education, Animal/ Sheep Husbandry Department, Planni-ng, Development & Monitoring Department, Industries & Commerce, social Welfare, Agriculture, RRD & Panchayati Raj are its members. Chairman J&K Bank, CGM SBI, COO Himayat (DDUGKY), representative from the Ministry of Rural Development (GoI), J&K Cooperative Mild Production Federation, RBI/NABARD /Convener SLBC and national level NGO are also members of the JKRLD General Body.
For the Executive Body of JKRLS, Administrative Secret-aries of Finance Department, Health & Medical Education, Animal/ Sheep Husbandry Department, Industries & Commerce, Agriculture, RRD & Panchayati Raj are its members while Mission Director Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission is the Member Secretary.
COO Himayat (DDUGKY), representative from the Ministry of Rural Development (GoI), J&K Cooperative Mild Production Federation, Convener SLBC and representative from SHG Federation are other members of the Executive Council.
