JAMMU, Aug 13: The Government today directed all officers in the Union Territory above the rank of Under Secretaries stationed at Srinagar/Jammu to attend main function of Independence Day celebrations at Sher-i-Kashmir cricket stadium Sonawar in Srinagar and Parade Ground, Jammu respectively.
An order to this effect was issued today by the General Administration Department (GAD).
The Government has asked all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Managing Directors and Chief Executives of the Public Sector Undertakings to ensure that all officers/officials working under their administrative control and stationed at Srinagar/Jammu attend the Independence Day function at their respective places.
