JAMMU, Jan 16: All J&K ReT Teachers Forum has appealed Governor N N Vohra to release the pending salary of ReT teachers.
The appeal was made during a general body meeting of the Forum, held under the chairmanship of Jammu zone president, Joginder Digra.
“It is unfortunate that the ReTs are without salary for the last 7 to 8 months and the Government is sleeping over the matter,” Mr Digra said and sought personal intervention of the Governor to solve the issue. He also urged the Government of India to clear all pending issues of ReTs regarding their arrears and salaries so that they may not suffer in future.
The meeting was attended by Vishal Sharma, Daleep Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Gurdas Kumar, Suresh Verma, Rakesh Kumar, Sikander Lal, Parveen Kumar, Sandeep Kumar and Karan Singh.
