JAMMU, Jan 5: S C Goswami has been elected as chairman while Anil Kumar Gupta as vice chairman of All J&K Diploma Engineers Association. In a meeting of Diploma Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mech) Association held here today under the leadership of its president Upinder Singh ( PWD, R&B), the Central body members unanimously elected S C Goswami as chairman and Anil Kumar Gupta as vice chairman of the Association. The body resolved to fight for the issues of the diploma engineers which included restoration of entry level grade, promotion of every diploma engineer after 15 years of service, enhancement of fixed TA and the recommendation of running grade from the post of junior engineer onwards. Prominent among others present in the meeting included Vijay Sharma, Narinder Singh and Rakesh Goswami.
