JAMMU, May 13: MLA R.S.Pura Dr. Gagan Bhagat held a meeting at S.D.M Office R.S.Pura to review the power scenario and other important issues of Sub Division R.S.Pura.
The agenda of the meeting was to streamline the working of Power Development Department in R.S.Pura constituency. He stressed on constitution of teams to check the power thefts, illegal connections and measures to regularize power connections. He said that engaging volunteers, N.G.O’s , social workers, Ex-councilors, Panchayat members and Religious organization will definitely bring improvement in power sector. Dr. Gagan Bhagat directed other departments to aware common masses for saving electricity and keeping the surroundings clean .B.D.O’s of both the blocks were asked to organize Swacch Bharat Abhiyan at Panchayat levels and participation of P.R.I’s in Plantation drive on regular basis. Dr.Gagan Bhagat said that he will regularly hold meeting with every department once a month, and constitution of “Grievance Cell” at every Government office.
