JAMMU, Feb 29: The Gole Colony near Agricultural Workshop in Tallab Tillo area of the city is getting unhygienic drinking water supply.
In a handout JMC Councillor, Sucha Singh of Ward number 31, in which the Gole Colony falls stated that health of the people is at stake in Gole Colony due to unhygienic water supply.
He demanded replacement of PHE pipes in the area as the same have become defective and have developed cracks at many places from which dirty drain water gets mixed with supply water, which is consumed by the people.
The Councillor informed that the matter was brought into the notice of the Lieutenant Governor, G.C Murmu and also previous Governor, S.P Malik but no action has been taken in this direction so far.
