Multi Media Exhibition underway

POONCH, Aug 19: On day 2 of Multi Media Exhibition being organized by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Poonch on 9 years of Seva, Sushasan Aur Garib Kalyan, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, Mission LiFE and G-20 Presidency, Sunil Sharma, president Municipality Committee, Poonch was chief guest.
Gulam Abbas, Joint Director CBC, J&K, Ladakh and PIB Jammu presided over the function.
The day witnessed a huge footfall of locals, students and teachers of various schools apart from officers and officials of various departments.
The exhibition focused achievements of Government of India (GoI) in various fields.
The displays were especially designed by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for enlightenment of visitors about various schemes of GoI.
Selfie corners, displays, film shows, distribution of flyers etc on centrally sponsored schemes and current affairs, display your talent platform, stall of various departments and expert lectures of resource persons from various departments on CSS were main attractions for visitors especially the youth.
Speaking on the occasion Sunil Sharma, President MC, Poonch said that GoI is committed towards making India a developed nation through development of its people.
Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director, CBC gave a detailed overview of the Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) being organized for three days.
Resource Persons from Department of Employment, Mohd Rafiq, Dy. Director; Harrish Sharma from Education Department; Sandeep Sharma FBO, from Forest Department and Pawan Kumar from Department of Wild Life delivered expert lectures on the schemes related to their respective departments.
AWWs of ICDS also participated in IEC activities and won prizes.
