GNPS Dalhousie organises counseling session for admission

JAMMU, Feb 17: For the first time Guru Nanak Public School (GNPS), Dalhousie (Himachal Pradesh), a Co-Educational Senior Secondary institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is organizing counseling session for admission at hotel Mint Leaf, Jammu.
The school has been operating officially under Guru Nanak Public School Society on provisional basis since 1976. Established in 1999 under the farsighted vision of Capt NS Bhandari and Raksha Bhandari, GNPS Dalhousie today stands as one of the best educational institutions in the area with its innovative and beneficial approach towards the cause of education.
GNPS has a present strength of close to 900 students being imparted education by well qualified and dedicated faculties. May it be scholastic or co-scholastic domains, GNPS has always been a challenge to compete with. It is the school which provides space to inhabitants of its environ to discipline themselves, develop to their fullest potential, breathe in a homely atmosphere and learn to survive in this fight for the fittest. What may have it stand apart from others is the fact that the student here is taught to be teacher loving and not teacher fearing.
Most of the books are supplemented with CD ROMS for better understanding of the students. Audio visual aids are used with LCD and OHT projectors. It boasts of a well equipped Gymnasium, Computer lab, Science Lab, Mathematical lab and a well stocked library. The school has ample infrastructure and arrangements to cater to the various sports needs of the students.
The school has got well-equipped Science lab, Mathematical lab, computer lab and a well stocked school library catering to various tastes of the students including encyclopedias, biographies, novels, magazines etc. Subjects are offered as per CBSE guidelines. Punjabi and Sanskrit are taught as additional languages.
The academic session of the school begins in the first week of March and ends in the month of December.
