GMSBC asks displaced people to join May 8 event

JAMMU, May 6: Shree Gita Mandir Samriti Bhawan Committee (GMSBC) here today appealed to the displaced people of PoJK and others to join the congregation at PSPS College Gandhi Nagar on May 8, 2022 to remember martyrs of 1947.
In a press conference Committee members said that resolution will be passed in the congregation to get back PoJK land from illegal occupation of Pakistan.
They said that atrocities were committed on Hindus and Sikhs by Pakistan army in 1947 in areas like Mirpur, Kotli, Bimber etc, now in PoJK, and many people were killed by the invaders.
“To pay tributes to those martyrs and to remember their sacrifices all should join congregation on May 8, 2022 at 10.30 am,” they maintained adding that the event is being organised by Jammu Kashmir Peoples Forum.
Suresh Tandon, Naresh Vij, Kadam Kapoor and others were also present in the press conference.
