JAMMU, May 6: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria along with corporator, Jyoti Devi dedicated newly constructed lane and drain to the public by cutting the lace at Ward 53 Bhawani Vihar in Bahu constituency.
This work was executed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at a cost of about rupees eight lakh. Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria said that during an interaction with locals, it was found that the area was denied almost 25 year for development work. While he appreciated corporator, Jyoti Devi for development work efforts and said that she is trying to get development in the neglected areas. She always worries about the development related problems of the people of her Ward, he added.
He said that development works of crores have been done in Ward 53 and this area also moving towards becomes a Modern Ward. He, while admiring the efforts of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) corporators said that they are doing a great job by putting best efforts for development of their wards. He said that BJP is working on the agenda of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Ka Prayas” and to develop every corner is our responsibility.
He said that under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi India has been now enlisted into the developing nations and tremendous development has been observed in all the sectors and segments.
He said many mega projects have been kick started for the development of the area,. Corporator Ward No. 53 Jyoti Devi said that there was an old demand of the people to construct the lane and drain here which has been fulfilled now and people will get a lot of relief from this development works.
