JAMMU, July 5: The Residents Doctors Association (RDA), Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and associated hospitals today expressed serious concern over lack of basic amenities in Boys Hostel, GMC Jammu.
The association said that there are frequent electric cuts in the Hostel while the exam of the PG doctors is going and the exams of undergraduates are approaching near. “In this situation, it has become difficult for them to prepare for their exams” the association said.
“Water supply is also dismal in the Hostel, the condition of mess is worst and there is no furniture and guest room in the Hostel”, the association alleged and added that even in Girls Hostel only one water-cooler is installed even after thousand requests and the residents have to purchase water from the market.
The association appealed the administration to look the matter seriously.
