GANDERBAL, Oct 3: A comprehensive day long counselling and career guidance camp for Civil Services (CS) aspirants was organised here by Gloss Foundation.
Over 80 CS aspirants took part in the camp where Shakil Ahmad Ganai, Deputy Commissioner Income Tax (Investigation); Syed Haamid Bukhari, Registrar of Companies, Kashmir and OL to the UTs of J&K and Ladakh, attached to High Court of J&K, Sahir Majeed, CDPO Kangan and Zahid Rashid, Assistant Director, Handicrafts and Handloom Ganderbal taught the basics of ‘How to go for CS and succeed in competitive exams.’
Apart from this eminent personalities from corporate sector including Wasiq Ahmad Shan, CEO Khanday Projects Pvt Ltd and prominent social activists were also present during the event.
On this occasion, e-inauguration of the Community Library set up by Gloss Foundation at Ganderbal was also done by Shakil Ahmad Ganai and Wasiq Ahmad Shan.
The library was to facilitate CS aspirants and is financially supported by Wasiq Shan.
The CS aspirants raised certain questions and were given satisfactory answers.
On this occasion Gloss Foundation Founder Chairman, Shah Aijaz Ahmad and Co-founder, Dr. Ashiq Ashraf assured that the library and counselling sessions will grow consistently to benefit the budding youth.
Stationery and participation certificates were also awarded to the participants.
