JAMMU, June 16: To educate the women about prevention and early detection of cancer, an awareness event “Globathon Walk” will be organised on June 29.
A meeting of professionals, social activists, community leaders and head of social organizations was held today at UP Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat.
During the meeting, the speakers threw light on the importance of this walk and also discussed ways to end women cancer.
Those who spoke were Dr Jasbir Singh, retd DHS Jammu, YV Sharma, president Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Ranjit Singh, secretary Bar Association, Dr Kasturi Lal, retd Principal, GMC Jammu, Prem Sadotra, joint secretary, Bar Association, Santosh Magotra, Ex Corporator JMC, BS Jamwal Advocate, besides many others.
