Give appropriate treatment to Indian prisoners: Kashmir Singh

JAMMU, Aug 6: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are the product of civilization of Indian subcontinent as all have common history, culture, language and religion.
This was stated by Kashmir Singh, former MLC during a meeting of India Pakistan Soldiers Initiative for Peace, which was attended by delegates comprising of veteran Army, Navy and Air force officers.
Singh urged upon the members of the organization to stress upon the military and civilian rulers of Pakistan to give the appropriate treatment as per the international laws of the Red Cross to the Indian war prisoners and other civil prisoners languishing in the Pakistan jails.
He said that China belongs to different background and having different motive of expansion, because it requires a large resource of mineral wealth, land route to touch the countries of the Silican Valley and also to reach up to the sea water with purpose to increase its military machines.
The meeting was attended by General KS Bajwa, General Tej Koul, General Dhaliwal, Commander Ranjit Singh, Brigadier IG Shah, etc.
