JAMMU, June 27: A young girl here in Bantalab area has been allegedly raped by one of her male friends.
According to police sources, in a written complaint to police post Chinore, the girl, who is said to be a University student, has submitted that one of her male friends raped her by making false promises of marriage.
“Acting on the complaint, a rape case vide FIR Number 176/2021 has been registered against the accused namely Deepak Singh son of Ramesh Singh, resident of Bantalab,” sources said, adding, further investigation into the case is on.
