REASI, May 15: A young girl from Dhanore in Arnas was alleged raped by a man, who called her to Reasi for some work and then committed the offence.
In her complaint to the Police, the victim said that the accused namely Zaman Din, son of Subhan Din of Bhanore, Arnas, asked her to come to Reasi as some Government money was sanctioned in her favour for marriage purpose. As she reached Reasi in the evening, the accused told her that banks were closed at that time and she had to wait till next day. The accused then took her along to his rented room at Reasi where he took a tablet and offered her too, which she accepted. During the night hours, the accused raped her.
On the direction of Munsiff JMIC Reasi, Police registered a case FIR number .88/2017 under Section 376, 506 RPC in this connection at Police Station Reasi.
A hunt has been launched for arresting the accused while the victim was sent for medical examination.
