JAMMU, Sept 8: A 19-year-old girl today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence here at Bakshi Nagar.
According to a police spokesperson, the girl who is a resident of Christian Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance following which she was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable.
The reason behind this extreme step taken by the girl could not be ascertained immediately. However, the concerned police has taken cognizance.
