Srinagar, Mar 24: A pedestrian was killed, while another was injured in road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Maruti Zen Estilo, JK09/6037, hit and injured a pedestrian Tarish Mohi-ud-din daughter of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din of Zeb Magam at Kulangam, Handwara in Kupwara district.
The spokesman she was shifted to District Hospital, Handwara where she succumbed to her injuries.
A motorcycle, JK03D/4026, met with an accident at Hutmurah, Mattan, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist, he said, adding the injured was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Police has registered cases in these accidents, the spokesman said.
