SRINAGAR, Sept 20: Police today said a girl ended her life by hanging herself in Panzalla area of Sopore in Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said that a 17 year old girl (name withheld) hanged herself to death at her home. Police have started investigation under Section 174 CrPC in this regard, he said.
“Police after conducting all legal formalities handed over the body of deceased girl to her next of kin for last rites,” the spokesman added.
