JAMMU, Dec 26: A 21-year-old girl was today found hanging at her residence here in Kharrikan Talab area falling under the limits of police station Peer Mitha.
According to police spokesperson, the girl identified as Neha (21) daughter of Krishan Lal was found hanging with the hook of a ceiling fan at her residence in Mohalla Ramdassian in Kharrika Talab area of city, by her mother when she returned home this evening after day’s work.
On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body of the girl to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting post mortem it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
A case in this connection has been registered at concerned police station investigations started.
