SAMBA, Nov 29: A 16-year-old girl swallowed poison at her residence in Samba this morning.
Seeing the deteriorating condition, the family members immediately took her to District Hospital, Samba, where after first aid, she was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for better treatment. Her condition is stated to be critical.
The girl has been identified as Sazia daughter of Mohammad Salim resident of Anantnag Kashmir, presently Sangwali Mandi Samba. In this context, the police have also registered a case and started further action.
