UDHAMPUR, May 21: In a tragic road accident, an 11-year old girl was knocked to death by a speeding motorcycle at village Sundla in Majalta, here today.
According to the police report, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK14K-1788, hit the victim girl at village Sundla. Some locals rushed the injured girl to PHC Majalta where she succumbed to her injuries during the treatment.
The deceased was identified as Bhumika_Mankotia (11), daughter of Vikram Singh, a resident of Panchayat Sundla, Ward Number 2, Majalta.
After the accident, the motorcycle rider fled from the spot. The Majalta police have registered a case in this connection and further investigation is going on.
