JAMMU, June 17: Consequent upon his transfer and posting as DGP Puducherry, Government today relieved Dr Srinivas, the 1990 Cadre IPS officer, of the charge of Commandant General (CG) Homeguards/CD/SDRF, Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, SJM Gillani, the Additional Director General of Police, Armed J&K, has been given the charge of the post of CG Homeguards/CD/SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
An order issued in this context read, “consequent upon the transfer of Dr B Srinivas, CG Homeguards/CD/SDRF, J&K, as Director General of Police, Puducherry, in terms of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India’s order issued vide F.No. 14020/04/2022-UTS.I(Pt) dated June 8, 2023, he is hereby relieved from the UT of Jammu and Kashmir, to take up his new assignment.”
“SJM Gillani, Additional Director General of Police, Armed, J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of Commandant General, Homeguards/CD/SDRF, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.”
