JAMMU, Feb 6: The National Development Foundation (NDF) Jammu with support from Communication and Capacity Development Unit (CCDU)/WSSO Department of PHE and IFC conducted a programme on link between water and sanitation at Government Higher Secondary School, Domana, today.
The NDF team took up water samples from the school for sampling and found that school water is free from contamination and is quite safe.
The orgainsation also conducted painting and essay writing competitions for the students and awarded prizes.
The Assistant Director, NDF Sumit Sharma also spoke on the quality control of water. The Principal Ajeet Sharma threw light on the importance of judicious use of water and the need to conserve water. Girdhari Lal, vice Principal thanked the orgainsation and the staff.
The NDF also distributed refreshment among the students and the staff.
