JAMMU, Nov 15: The Global Guru Nanak Foundation, (GGNF) in coordination with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), facilitated the distribution of compensation cheques to the families affected by the tragic attack during Operation Sindoor in Poonch.
The cheques were formally handed over to the president of the Gurdwara Committee, Poonch, by the Managing Body of the Global Guru Nanak Foundation.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Mahant Manjeet Singh, the revered head of Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch, who oversaw the proceedings and blessed the initiative aimed at supporting the bereaved families.
Representatives of Global Guru Nanak Foundation expressed deep appreciation to the Delhi Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee for their timely humanitarian assistance. They specifically acknowledged the efforts of Bupinder Singh Ganni, Member DSGMC, and Gurmeet Singh, who personally travelled to Poonch, met the affected families, and ensured that their concerns were heard with compassion and dignity. Their presence brought emotional support to the families coping with the loss of their loved ones who attained martyrdom in the line of duty.
The Global Guru Nanak Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to social justice, historical preservation, and community welfare.
