BHADERWAH, Oct 2: A general store gutted in fire near Radio Station, here this evening.
As per police sources, fire broke out probably due to short circuit in the general store of Mushtaq Mohammad, son of Mohammad Shafi near Radio Station, here.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started operation to douse the flames. The fire-tender reached the spot after one hour, to which people also held protest.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control. No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bhaderwah police has taken cognizance in this regard.
