JAMMU, Jan 7: Highlighting their demands, members of General Line Teachers Forum held a protest demonstration here today.
The protesting teachers were demanding early adjustment of newly promoted teachers, filling up of vacant post of teaching cadre and removal of pay disparity of teachers with equivalent cadres in the State. The protesting teachers also raised slogans in support of their demands.
While addressing the demonstration, GLTF president Neeraj Sharma also demanded revocation of Government order number 469, dated 26-6-2014.
Those who took part in the demonstration, included Parshotam Singh, Shiv Nandan, Bharat Singh, Vikas, Kulbhushan, Kuldeep Sharma and others.
