JAMMU, Apr 20: The General Line Teachers Forum held its meeting under the chairmanship of Neeraj Sharma and discussed various issues pertaining to the teaching community and Education Department.
The meet expressed displeasure over the hasty steps taken by Education Minister without considering the ground facts. In this connection, the president mentioned about the suspension of a Master in-charge of Middle school Langer for no cleanliness in the schools.
The meet also raised the issue of transfers in Education Department and said that the transfer orders of various cadres, particularly promotees, should be implemented strictly. Those who decline to adhere such transfer orders, their promotion should be withdrawn and be given to those who are willing to serve any where in the State, the Forum added.
The meeting was attended by Dalip K Digra, Kiran Pandita, Sukhdev Singh, Digvijay, Amit Dabgotra, Tajinder Singh and others.
