JAMMU, Jan 6: Advisory committee of All J&K Government Engineering Draftsman Association (GEDA), Hydraulic Wing held a meeting, which was also attended by general body members.
The objective behind the exercise was to extend the date of election unanimously as the demand for the extension of election date was pouring in from various divisions and districts. The weather condition with cold and fog was one among the reasons.
Finally a unanimous decision was taken to hold the election on February 3 and also the date of receiving and filing the nomination forms is also extended upto January 15 and withdrawal from the fray of any shall be entertained upto January 18.
However, the time and venue shall remain same i.e Press Club from 11 am to 2 pm.
The members among the advisory committee present were Mahesh Sharma, Pankaj Raina, Jai Kumar and AK Kaloo along with other members from PHE, RTIC and I&FC.
