Gear up to accomplish Mission 50 plus: Rekha Mahajan

JAMMU, May 4: Stressing upon the party activists to devote more time and further gear up their activities, secretary BJP, J&K and Prabhari district Akhnoor, Rekha Mahajan, said that hard work is necessary to accomplish the Mission 50 plus in the elections, as and when held in the UT.
She said this, while chairing a review meeting of district Akhnoor, which was organised under the presidentship of district president, Jagdish Bhagat.
A number of party programmes , including Booth Sampark Abhiyan, Micro Donation Campaign, Holding Shakti Kendra Sammelan on May 22 etc were discussed in the meeting.
Rekha Mahajan, said that for the first time in the history of India, the country has seen a Government at the Centre, which has, created history in just eight years by launching numerous welfare schemes and mega developmental projects. BJP Government, under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has taken care of every region, every section in its programmes and policies.
Rekha further said that the recent elections in different states have shown the resolve of the people to strengthen BJP and the party has set up target of forming its own Government in J&K too. To achieve this target, it is imperative that each one of us takes a pledge not to rest till lotus registers victory in more than 50 Assembly segments. She also stressed for conducting regular monthly meetings of BDC, DDC and Municipal Committees of the district.
Meanwhile, in addition to her address the review meeting, Rekha Mahajan, also appealed workers to mobilise people in large number from Akhnoor for upcoming Shradhanjali Samaroh and Punya Bhoomi Smaran Sabha for the PoJK refugees to be held at Jammu on May 8.
District president Jagdish Bhagat, Ex MLA Krishan Lal Bhagat and BJP senior leader Jugal Dogra also addressed the meeting.
DDC members Sharda Bhau and Bhushan Bral, Jourian Municipal Committee Chairman, Madal Lal, Chairman Municipal Committee, Akhnoor Sanjay Saraf, State Executive Member Narinder Singh Bhau were prominent present in the meeting.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by general secretaries G S Chib and Shobha Ram.
