JAMMU, May 4: Senior All India Congress Committee (AICC) leader, Incharge J&K and Member of Parliament Rajni Patil will be on three days’ visit of Jammu and Kashmir from May 5 to 7.
A party spokesman said that Patil will arrive in Jammu on May 5 and shall hold series of meetings with party functionaries and other senior leaders. On May 6 in the afternoon, she will reach Srinagar to hold interaction with party functionaries and senior leaders there. She will return to the Union Capital on May 7.
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) spokesman further said that during three days’ tour of J&K, AICC Incharge J&K, will review the organizational affairs and activities in Jammu as well as in Kashmir, besides she will hold discussions on socio political scenario prevailing in J&K, with the party functionaries.
Subsequently, discussions over various issues of public importance will also come under discussion during Patil’s interaction with JKPCC leaders, the spokesman added.
Meanwhile, Pradesh Returning Officers of the Congress Party also accompanied by APROs are visiting Jammu and Kashmir.
District Returning Officers (DROs) appointed by AICC for all the District Congress Committees of J&K shall also visit both Jammu and Kashmir provinces, respectively
In a press statement J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has declared that Pradesh Returning Officers accompanied by APROs and DROs shall be in Jammu on May 6, 2022 to interact with the newly appointed Block Returning Officers in Jammu Province, subsequently they will reach Srinagar on May 7 morning to hold discussion with BROs of Kashmir province.
The DROs shall hold threadbare discussions with BROs over the ongoing Party elections and devise future line of action on this count, JKPCC added.
