SAMBA, Dec 22: NSS Unit of GDC Samba organized a poetry relation and slogan writing competition on the fifth day of seven days special camp in its College premises, here today.
The topic of the competition was ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’.
40 volunteers participated with great enthusiasm in both the competitions.
The Principal of the College, Dr Ramesh Chander while speaking urged upon the students to come forward in making Clean India and Green India.
On the occasion Dr Sandhya Rani NSS Programme Officer inspired the volunteers to unite their hands in making India clean.
In poetry competition, Pooja Sambyal bagged 1st prize, Diksha Sambyal got 2nd prize and Radha, Sapna and Ajay shared 3rd prize where as Kajal Dalpatia was presented consolations prize.
In slogan writing competition, Neha Rani bagged 1st place, Priya Slathia and Nancy Sharma got 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. The consolation was shared by Parveen Kumari and Diksha.
The competition was inaugurated by Prof Yashpaul, Prof Surbhi, Prof Anupma and Prof Sushma Gupta.
