DHARMARI, Oct 7: Keeping up its resolve to implement the directives of the Election Commission of India, Government Degree College, Dharmari organized a slogan writing competition, today.
Dr Tilak Raj Sharma, Principal of the College was the chief guest on this occasion. While interacting with the participants Prof Sharma asked the students to put original and innovative ideas on paper that can motivate other masses to join hands for the active involvement and development of Nation, which is possible by participating and electing right candidates by their franchise.
The students were very enthusiastic about expressing their innovative ideas on paper and presented their slogans in a very colorful manner. All the participants tried their best in presenting their ideas to win this competition.
Mohd Ayub, Rukhsana Akhter, Basharat Hussain and Shabnam Akhter secured first, second, third and forth positions respectively.
Dr Chander Mohan, Asst Prof English, Ajay Kumar, Lecturer- in-Sociology, Javid Ahmed Najar, Lecturer- in- Urdu adjudged the slogans written by the students.
The whole programme was conducted by Pankaj Chalotra, Lecturer in Political Science.
