JAMMU, July 3: The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of PSPS Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, in collaboration with the Directorate Placement Cell of Cluster University of Jammu, today hosted a motivational lecture by the renowned exuberant achiever, actor, and motivational speaker, Arfeen Khan.
The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting. Dr D S Manhas, the Dean of the Directorate Placement Cell, warmly welcomed the esteemed guests.
Prof Bechan Lal, Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu, graced the occasion as the chief guest, and Dr Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar, was the guest of honour. Radhika Cheema, a distinguished women entrepreneur and founder of KHJ Health Care Foundation, captivated the audience with her inspiring real-life journey of success, igniting a spark within each attendee.
As the resource person for the event, Arfeen Khan shared invaluable insights and strategies to awaken the inherent greatness within every individual.
Through captivating storytelling, practical examples, and interactive sessions, students learned how to conquer obstacles with resilience and determination, embracing challenges along the way. Khan emphasized the importance of cultivating a positive mindset to unlock one’s potential and inner strength.
Addressing the gathering, Puneet Pradhan, the Director and advisor of KIIT University, emphasized the significance of setting ambitious goals with strategic planning and focused action. The event was graced by the presence of Dr Naveen Anand, the Dean of Academic Affairs, and Dr Satinder Kour, the Dean of research studies.
Prof Minu Mahajan, the Principal of the college, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the organizing committee for arranging such a wonderful and impactful event. The program witnessed an attendance of approximately 650 students, accompanied by college faculty members.
Prof Rajni Kumari, the convener of the career counselling and placement cell, along with the committee members, provided valuable guidance for the successful execution of the event.
The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof Sugandha Mahajan, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Neelam Thapa.
