Srinagar, June 2: BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Gupta met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan and discussed the current political and developmental scenario of Jammu and Kashmir.
He highlighted public concerns, recent ground-level developments across various regions, and stressed the need to strengthen peace, accelerate ongoing projects, and ensure inclusive governance. Gaurav also appreciated the administration’s transparent and people-centric approach under LG Sinha’s leadership.
The LG acknowledged the feedback and reiterated the administration’s commitment to public welfare and inclusive development.
A delegation of Traders Association, Lal Chowk Srinagar led by its President Mohammad Iqbal Khan also called on Lieutenant Governor.
The members of the delegation put forth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities at Lal Chowk and other issues of traders’ community.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that appropriate action will be taken to address the issues projected by them.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Najmus Saqib and Suhaib Feroz Jeelani, International Pencak Silat Players from Srinagar also called on Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of various issues pertaining to the extension of benefits under the sports policy to the sportspersons of Jammu Kashmir.
