SAMBA, Oct 9: Minister for Industries & Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today kick started the up-gradation and improvement works of Purmandal road in Bari Brahmana.
Ganga inaugurated the work for up-gradation and improvement of double lane road (3 kms) by way of laying 50 mm Bituminous Macadam and 25 mm SDBC amounting to Rs 2 crore.
He said the Government has fulfilled the promise made to the residents of the area and assured that he would personally monitor the work and directed the officials to collect samples on regular basis so that the quality of the road is maintained.
The Minister said that with tireless efforts of the Coalition Government massive development has taken place in various sectors like R&B, Health, Education, PHE, Power and Social Welfare in the state during the last six months. He said that it is endeavour of the Government to ensure basic facilities to the people of rural areas.
